Tinted Moisturizer? BB Cream?? or Foundation??

Are you a fan of Tinted Moisturizer or BB Cream or Foundation??

I’m a fan of BB Cream.. I can still recall how i doubt the effect of a BB cream when it was first introduced to me..

“Is it that magical!?”

“If BB Cream can do wonder then what is concealer??”

“It sounds so harmful!”

But after i tried using once.. ( i remember i was like.. “ok should i put on concealer first or bb cream first??!” LOL!!!) i fell madly in love with it… It really works like magic! From then on, i no longer rely on concealer..

So what’s the diff between all of them?? See below pic..

I grabbed below pic from Kiehl’s FB page! and I find it quite true to description. I ever tried Laura Mercier’s Tinted Moisturizer and indeed the coverage was not as good as my regular BB cream (from Ettusais). But it definitely gives my face a dewy look! When i still have my tinted moisturizer then, i used it as a makeup base before i put on my BB cream. As for moisturized or not, its not like i can tell immediately.. but it doesn’t make my skin drier than dry, that makes me very happy already! LOL..

I seldom use foundation as I feel that it will clogged pore to insane extend! The most i used is probably a mineral loose powder after putting on my BB cream.. Why? no particular reason.. Purely because my BB cream is too fair for me and i need my loose powder to darkened my complexion! HAHAHAH.. till i finished this BB cream, I’m not gona throw it away…

M for March! March for my BIRTHDAY!! & mom’s!! Totally in love with March!! Sorry for this VERY VERY late post! i got this trove on time in feb but i cant recall exect date because i was too excited about my trip then!!

FruityLite! i like this.. i get to know this drink from my mom!! my mom bought this several months ago and i tried it! it taste almost like lemon tea, very refreshing! as for the slimming effect… ehem… effective things never taste yummy!! that’s my belief! hahahaa…

Next we have this GoldKiwi set.. its actually a miniature toner/moisturizer set.

To me, its another anti-wrinkle serum.. but its seems pretty powerful! hee.. guess i’ll let me mom try and keep me updated!

Here come my favourite product!! Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturiser in creme compact size!!! Now i can have dewy look again!!!

See.. this small compact size can let me carry it around without much effort! Only problem could be the sponge.. the creme is too compact that the sponge have to be kept separately..

As usual, there’s a little magazine in every month’s trove.. and this month, i like this pg most.. it’s a 10 day beauty count down! man! time to get beautiful!

October Bellabox – Happy Birthday!

First thing first.. My apologise for the not so good resolutions pictures that you are going to see in this post! i think must be due to the battery running low!

This month’s bellabox came in RED! you know why?? my guess is .. Bellabox 1st Birthday!! Tho this post is late but its nvr really too late to share joy & happiness!

Im glad i din really cancelled my subscription this month else i’ll be missing out all these darlings~ This month bellabox was a really special one to me! WHY? cuz i bought it at $7.50 only – that’s more than 50% off!!! Actually i had already cancelled my subscription in early sept then i saw a IRRESITABLE deal from (can’t rmb which) a website and decided to re-subscribe again!!! But no gaurantee that i wun cancel it anytime soon! haha!

I’m not really very surprise to see what i have becuz somehow, it was already revealed before i got my box. no excitement but doesn’t mean i don’t like it!!

~~I’ve not use this remover so can’t really comment much, maybe until i used it then i’ll share more with you?~~ OK, tried this last night and just moments ago. This little bottle is really fragrance-free and water base! i used about 3 cotton pad to remove my makeup till completely clean. No tight feeling after that and skin does feel clean! This will be good on my lazy days – where i can just sit and watch TV while i remove my makeup!

I applied this after my moisturizer.. OK, i know what u are thinking.. this is already a (tinted) moisturizer why would i still use one?? actually i’m a little kiasu! i still think its better to complete my regular daily regimes and it makes me feel more protected too! To me, tinted moisturizer is more like a moisturized foundation. So, of cuz i would still use my moisturizer before foundation. But as compared to a foundation, this is less better in coverage. If you are looking for something with good coverage, this is not for u.

Back to what i did, i applied this, after my moisturizer, like a makeup base! then i tap on my bb cream (concealer) on spots and finish it off w my mineral loose powder. How do i look? MARVELLOUS of course!!! hahaha! i feel nothing too special when i first apply (application was really smooth and easy i must say!), in fact i din feel it was lightweight.. but after my makeup is almost set (i watched a bit of TV, before looking at the mirror again – need to make sure i look ok before stepping out of my house!! hahahah) i got a shock.. my complexion looks really … RADIANT & DEWY! i think i like this tinted moisturizer.. but if i need to buy it myself.. probably have to wait till the time is ripe! LOL~
