After making my first purchase, I thought this was a pretty good concept for user to explore more local brands. Good local brands! Through Preloot, I actually get to know more local brands! I actually seen some brands before but wasn’t aware that they’re local brands – ie: Gummi! I thought they were from US or Europe.. (my gosh! How sua-ku!) & Bodhi too!!

Well…here’s my SECOND BOX (& THIRD BOX) to share.. Hope you like them too!

Correct! this is my second pack of body scrubs from Basic Theory! I prefer this than the coffee one redeem earlier! the mild soothing lavender scent helps ease my mood and makes me feels relax after a day of hard work!!

OH!! This is GOOD! I never thought local brand can be this good – especially the night cream!! But to be exact, this is not really a local brand though. Flower2Grass2 originated from Hong Kong and is new in Singapore! Best part, it’s paraben-, colorant- and sulphate-free!! Pssst~ Only available on Preloot – that’s exclusive!

The night cream good for combination skin user (yes! finally something made for me!!)! Rose Geranium oil calms oily or irritated skin, such as eczema, acne & rashes. Skin appears radiant as a result. Happy 2015 everyone!! Although I am 10 days late BUT(!) it’s the thought that count!!

Not forgetting, Happy SG50!!! Yes, this year is Singapore 50th Birthday tooooo!! 😀

Well, today’s post has got nothing to do with National Day nor fireworks. I’m here to continue my unfinished work… Do you remember I was sharing with you the Covermark Workshop I attended in early December? CAN’T!!? Nevermind, click HERE to read!

So after I got home, I quickly opened up my goodie bag and found myself a bag full of goodness!!

Basically, to summerize it all, we’ve got all we need for our daily skin care regime! From makeup remover to cleanser all the way to loose powder!!

They are very generous to give participants 3 days worth of sample sachet (toner, serum, moisturizer)!!

Toner smells good and quite hydrating.. 1 sachet like this is more than enough for my whole face and don’t forget your neck!! Neck is one BIG factor that reveals your age!!

After toner, we should use serum. I thought serum should be translucent kinda texture but Covermark’s serum let me feels more like a moisturizer.. Again, don’t be stingy, 1 sachet for 1 usage..

I can’t tell you how much I love this Cell Advance collection.. They’re not only moisturizing, they can repair our mother cell and myeloid stem cells! In short, using Cell Advance collection for a period of time, you will notice an uplifting and radiance on your skin! Like glowing from within…!

Next is this moisturizer… This moisturizer is advisable to use only at night! You must be thinking WHY ONLY AT NIGHT!?

Let me tell you WHY……

It’s super oily la!! My skin is shining like I’ve never seen before! This oily look will last quite a while.. But you know what, I’m not very bothered by it because it somehow doesn’t leave behind the oily sensation. Seems like it only look oily but doesn’t feel oily. I know I’m confusing you but.. If this is what is takes to have beautiful skin, I’m quite ok to use it every night..

Oiliness (shiny/glow, whatever you call it) aside, this moisturizer is pretty good! My skin feels tighten but not drying at all.. I wake up with skin looking healthy and no oily T-zone!!

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Today I’m gonna share with you my December Little Black Beauty Box – StyleXSanta Box!! But before that, pls note that LBBB subscription has been amended.. It’s no longer at $19.90 (or was it $19.99?). The new price is S$21.90.

Another thing.. this mascara doesn’t feel very clumpy and its easy to achieve the volumized look. Use a lash curler before applying mascara so that your lashes will stay curled for a longer time..

I wore this mascara since noon till midnight (MERRY CHRISTMAS!) and it shows no sign of smudging! No gothic look at all~ hahah! Waterproof? OF COURSE!! Removing is not hard at all tooooo….

Lip Gloss from Bobby Brown! YOU KNOW WHAT, I am allergic to BB’s product! T_T oh man!! I will get rashes if I apply anything on my skin. My lips will feel mild numbness when I apply lip color on my lips.. The more you love the more you can’t get to use it.. *sobs* (I’m not trying to scare you.. oops!)

This color seems a bit shimmerish neutral/natural brown color. I thought it will make my lips look dark.. but…….

It really look very natural on my lips!

*I’m risking my “life” to put this on just to show you the result okay!!* hee.. >_<

You can see my chapped lips looks fine after I applied the lip gloss! Totally good cover up! WAHAHAHAHA… too bad I’m allergic to BB! aww.. Don’t reminds me of that…

Sep Bellabox: Pink Me Up!

Hi All!! Are you excited already after seeing my subject?? Yes, it’s Bellabox time again! After soooo long! hahaha This months box is pretty amazing.. I LOVE IT!

Seee! So many items this month! First thing that caught my attention is….. *drumroll*

THIS! JJOYY Bubble Peeling Pad! I had never seen this! Have you… ? I went to do a web search per the website provided and realise.. this might be another good stuff I will fall in love with!

Since the skin cells around the skin are soft tissue, if roughly treated it will cause trouble in stimulation. But it needs to be removed in 28-days period cycle to prevent dead skin cells being clogged up on the surface of the skin. If clogged, it will cause darkening and dehydration, which leads to wrinkled and dried skin!

Oh did I mention? This exfoliating pad can be reuse up to 3 times after first use. Just have to hang it in your bathroom when your done with it. Saw from some site that this pad can be used on other area where dead skin cells can be found.. ie: heels? elbow?

I’m pretty excited with Dr.Ci:Labo products.. Previously i got a Aqua-Collagen-Gel from them but haven got a chance to use yet! and now comes moreee ^_^

I did a little test on my hand and as you can see, this bb cream is quick creamy. Not those liquid runny type.

If you ask me, i would say the coverage is just so-so.. but as per the pic, you can see my hand is “glowing”! Does gives a radiant look…! So if you don’t have pigmentation as bad as me, this is pretty good bb cream for you!

This night capsule is good! A small capsule contain quite a lot of serum.. It feels oily on ur hand. but when u apply, the oil seems to form up a protecting layer on your face and slowly being absorbed and it became less oily and face feels smooth (but if u rub it hard, u can actually still feel the oil after some time) Seems like i can understand better the reason behind the price now.. worth it if you dun mind the price..

VT even include this ALL JAPANESES words booklet for us.. (like i know how to read!?) Lucky for those who can read but this booklet seems pretty useless to me and i would rather visit the web! hahaha..

Overall i think this is a pretty impressive trove, value aside! The more trove we get the more we understand that most item are sample pack and can easily be requested from the beauty counters, For eg: Dr.Ci:Labo products, it merely cost S$10~ due to the current promo. However, if there isn’t any promo, this whole trial set is worth about S$15! That’s almost half my Vanity Trove price! But to me, it’s the effort that they put in to recommend you new and probably effective products! Ask yourself, if VT din not throw in this products, will you go to (say) Dr.Ci:Labo counter to ask for every sample every month? At least i won’t.. LOL..

What do u normally grab when there’s a sales!? Big Mega Sales!!! Me? I’ll grab skincare whenever possible!!

On 10 Nov, BHG Bishan had a closed door event, only for DBS/POSB/BHG member.. Fortunately, I’m all of the above! So I’m even more excited!!! I grabbed nothing but Laneige products this time! But trust mi, most of them belongs to my mom!

My mom’s happy result! Her whitening daily regime! Cleanser! Refiner! Essence!!

Something caught my attention! This cleansing foam!!! Ain’t it fun to wash ur face w foam?? I remember reading from somewhere foam can actually cleanse ur face better as the molecule can carry the dirt away.. (something like that..)

So what did i bought?? man! MUCH!! way too much!

Bought a moisturizer – Water Bank Gel Cream! 🙂 This is a 24-hour long-lasting gel-type moisture cream that supplies moisture and soothes the skin with a cool, invigorating texture! Suitable for combi skin like me!

(like how the Pore-fect face scrub works, so cooling refreshing till u wakes up!).. but it did not.. this face wash feels quite mild.. and the .. the… the liquid? the soap? the fluid? the gel? the watever u call it.. is very pretty.. it’s pearl white with microshimmer-like thingy.. feel as if after ur face wash, ur face will turned into a big pearl (but obviously it did not!)..

If you asked me, i will prefer the face scrub then this face wash.. this is a so-so kinda product only.. the Pore-fect Face Srub amazed mi more.. 😀

Sleep it off Night Cream.. and i really slp it off.. this night cream was given higher rating then the day cream.. so i decided to give it a try.. well… if u asked for my first thot after using, i will tell u.. i dun like it. but if u ask mi 2nd thot aft i woke up this morning, i will say differently!

Cream in the bottle feels a bit.. not running..? i think i can turn the bottle (open) up side down and the cream will not have any movement..! about 1-2 mins after i applied this cream, i start to feel oily.. keep wanting to wipe off the oil on my face.. feel as if it will cause MORE outbreak than wat i alr have!!! but wanted to really see the effect i decided to quickly SLEEP IT OFF! LOL!! & this morning, i wake up my skin feel supple.. it’s not oily at all.. ok, for mi i would usually wake up with oily skin.. but this morning, i wake up with smooth smooth skin! is this my imagination?? i will use it again tonite! argg… just gona pull through the initial oily sensation!!
