Today, I’m gonna share with you something I’ve wanted to try. Thanks to Samplestore, I got the opportunity to try and share my review!! So what is it!??

Majolica Majorca Lash King Mascara + Perfect Automatic Liner #36 Limited Edition~!!

I like how they market/package their products. Made consumers (maybe just me >_<) feel like a royal~!

BTW, Majolica Majorca is one o the product line by Shiseido! Knowing it’s from Shiseido actually made me quite confident in whatever it claims to to! Just that I’ve always felt that I’m too old to be buying them off the shelf! Teenagers/Young adult seems to be their targeted market.. T_TI’m already in my final year of 20s!!!! Enjoy while it last~~!

Back to the mascara! Upon opening it, the first thing that caught my attention is ….

“WOW, Such long fibers!!?”

This is the longest fiber I’ve seen among my stash of mascara! Just how long are they? 5mm!! Long and black! No wonder it’s called KING Lash!!

King Lash is formulated with creamy wax and an increased amount of volume-increasing powder for superb lash adhesion and a clump-free and smooth finishing touch. It contains gentle treatment ingredients like Macadamia Nuts Oil & Vitamin E Derivative for your lashes.

Without any mascara… Pardon those sleepy soul-less eye!

Here’s after applying the mascara!! Woot~! Lash lengthen!? YESH~ Look more alert?? Yesh! (There’ll be more image towards the end of post)

Here you can see how “volumize” it is in a single coat.. Applying it is not a problem.. Just start from the roots, apply while lifting upwards, in a zigzag motion. For lower lashes, keep brush upright and apply while moving tip of brush sideways. This is Lash King’s basic application method.

Next, I will be showing you the Majolica Majorca Perfect Automatic Liner #36 (Limited Edition)! The water-based dial-type eye liner that allows you to easily draw fine, delicate lines or thick, bold lines with its felt pen bristles. Entice with a shimmering pearl color
on your eye line!

Basically, this is how it looks like before you start using….

And ta-daaaa~~ Here you go (that’s why u have to remove the pink ring)~!

The Perfect Automatic Lineris formulated with super fix polymer to give clear and long-lasting eye lines, which is very resistant to perspiration, skin oils and tears. Achieve dewy eyes by drawing on the lower lid or a shimmery effect by drawing on the upper lid.

How to get the “ink” out? Just turn the back of the eyeliner (where my right hand is holding)..

Some smudge-proof test? I drew 1 “coat” of the liner (most bottom line) then follow by two “coat” and then 3 “coat (top most).. I swipe my finger across almost immediately and I guess you can see the result..

The 1-coater is already dry by the time I’m drawing mt 3-coater.. The3-coater takes a slightly longer time to dry but still once its dry, it’s pretty smudgeproof/waterproof already..

Pls pardon me for not having swatches of it on my eye.. For some reason, the moment i dew them on my eyelid, i felt the sensitive pain on my eyelid and had to remove them immediately. I don’t know is it because I’m sensitive to any ingredient in it or just me eye being anti-social that day. But nonetheless, I’m gonna show you how waterproof these two products are!!

So here’s the mascara and the eyeliner… Yup, it’s dry already..

and then I *RUB RUB RUB RUB RUB*

SEEEE!! They just won’t leave you~!!! After rubbing so hard and they’re still visible, I believe they’re gonna stay whole day on your eyes man (you won’t be rubbing your eyes so hard anyway, am I right??)

Since they are sooo stubborn, will it be very difficult to remove??

Not really actually… I used my regular makeup remover water, press and hold for about 30 seconds and the eyeliner is gone. Mascara is still a little stubborn..

I think removing the mascara is more tidious.. It’s super water proof that I had to used my gel makeup remover and slowly remove them..

Ok, so here’s my look with the King Lash Mascara!! I like how it actually lengthen my lashes and stay neat whole day long! The only thing I will hesitate buying it is … it’s too stubborn to remove and it doesn’t really curl your lashes unless u have prep your lashes beforehand… T_T Guess when u’re at my age, time is precious… LOL!!

The Little Black Beauty Box X Tangs !!

Are you aware that The Little Black Beauty Box has changed partner?

Yup, it’s no more Robinson but Tangs! Oh well, to me, as long as it continue to bring in new/interesting/amazing samples for its subscribers, I don’t really care who’s the partner. Of course, the price must be justifiable! LOL..

I will not be going through every single item in my box but still I will show you picture of it..

First thing that caught my attention is…. BELIF! For the first time I actually see one sample box includes a decent travel size of Belif product! Best part, this is the cleanser that I would usually get when I wanted Belif!

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Today I’m gonna share with you my December Little Black Beauty Box – StyleXSanta Box!! But before that, pls note that LBBB subscription has been amended.. It’s no longer at $19.90 (or was it $19.99?). The new price is S$21.90.

Another thing.. this mascara doesn’t feel very clumpy and its easy to achieve the volumized look. Use a lash curler before applying mascara so that your lashes will stay curled for a longer time..

I wore this mascara since noon till midnight (MERRY CHRISTMAS!) and it shows no sign of smudging! No gothic look at all~ hahah! Waterproof? OF COURSE!! Removing is not hard at all tooooo….

Lip Gloss from Bobby Brown! YOU KNOW WHAT, I am allergic to BB’s product! T_T oh man!! I will get rashes if I apply anything on my skin. My lips will feel mild numbness when I apply lip color on my lips.. The more you love the more you can’t get to use it.. *sobs* (I’m not trying to scare you.. oops!)

This color seems a bit shimmerish neutral/natural brown color. I thought it will make my lips look dark.. but…….

It really look very natural on my lips!

You can see my chapped lips looks fine after I applied the lip gloss! Totally good cover up! WAHAHAHAHA… too bad I’m allergic to BB! aww.. Don’t reminds me of that…

My stash of… Mascara!

Hi Hi! Familiar with the above pic? Yes you should if u had read my previous post about (my fave) eyeliners. I had plans to share my makeup stash with you over a period of time.. this week, it’s gona be my EYE OPENING Mascara~

Here’s my family of mascara! Yes, this is too much for it’s life span but who cares!! I need different effect mascara for different occasion! Don’t you?? (ehem.. just excuses to get more mascara!)

The newest wand to the mascara family is ….

Catrice Waterproof Mascara

What I like: Affordable! Lashes doesn’t stick together with blink.

What I don’t like: It has nothing special.

How it look: Look decent for normal days. Not much lengthening or volume effect.

How did I get to know: During a one of Essence warehouse sales, I bought it to try..

Will I buy again: No.

CYBER COLORS – Ex Volume

What I like: Not only it give reasonable volume effect, it helps lengthen my lashes too! It doesn’t clump together easily and will not stick together when you blink.

What I don’t like: It’s not available everywhere, exclusively at SaSa. but luckily, SaSa is everywhere! LOL..

How it look: The brush is unlike those “bushie” bristle but it can really gives me length & volume! It’s not sticky and it’s waterproof too! Make me look bright and alert at all time.

Can see the difference from the previous mascara? I have longer lashes here and they seems to be thicker too..

Great option for dates!

How did I get to know: I can’t remember, but this is probably in one those surprise box I subscribed to.

Will I buy again: Definitely will consider this when my mascara stock is running low..!

CYBER COLORS – Curl Mascara

What I like: No other mascara can give the kinda of volume this mascara gives!

What I don’t like: Don’t have those bushy brush.. 😦 It looks more like a comb – Maybe that’s why it can volumized our lashes so much!

How it look: After my first application, I was dumb! This “hairless bristle” gave me great volume! My eye can look bigger even without eyeliner (though below pics are with eyeliners)!

Look at the volume it gave me (Sorry if it looks clumpy to you, this is my oldest mascara in my collection!!)! Although it couldn’t give me much length but I’m pretty happy with the bombastic volume already!

How did I get to know: Window shopping kills! SaSa promoter highly recommend this wonder wand to me! I was kinda reluctant to but a hairless wand because I don’t believe it will give my what I want.. Well, guess I was wrong..

Will I buy it again: Yes if it is still available! Bought this at about S$22..

K-PALETTE – 1 Day Lash Perm!

What I like: If I know I’m gonna have a long day and need to stay fresh and look alert, this is definitely my MUST USE makeup! It last you the whole day!

The brush is pretty “compact” as compared to Catrice Waterproof mascara. The little curve on the brush makes application along the inner eye lash easier! Now I can have thick lashes not only on the outer end of my eye but also the inner end!

Another thing I like about this mascara is that it is not sticky. When I blink, my lashes won’t keep sticking to each other and I had to open my eye extra wide to “pull them apart”!

What I don’t like: NOTHING!

How it look: Like what u seen above, it looks great the whole day! The super power waterproof effect is amazing! After one whole day of hard work, this mascara shows no sign of smudging at all! No gothic look! No dark eye ring! HAHAHAHA!! They stay like how they are when you first apply them!!

You must be wondering why do I keep saying about eye lash sticking together when I blink right? Because one of the L’Oreal mascara I have gave me this problem! Though it can give me curling effect but it’s too tacky. I have to open my eyes hard to not let my lashes stick together. I suppose the stickiness is what makes the mascara able to give u curling effect??

Yeap, this is the one.. Curl Impact Collagene. I have no picture to show you because I seldom use this anymore as it’s too tacky & since I have got my new (& better) love, I can continue to keep this in my stash until it expires..

This was the “IN-est” mascara when I bought it! It promise to give you length, volume, texture & curl! But apparently I think it only gave me texture.. Curling effect, the above mascara is better! Volumized effect, Cyber Colors did better! Lengthening? Cyber Colors did better tooo!

Overall, I think K-palette & Cyber Colors mascara are pretty worth investing!! A little more costly but definitely worth it!

Last but not least, since we’re on this topic “Mascara”, below is a quick tip i saw on FB. Hope it will be useful for you~!

Like what is says.. It’s SALE again!! The last time I went to Essence sales is also within this year (2013)…. erm no! It was LAST YEAR! Wow.. how time fly! You can read post from HERE. Essence have really good and affordable makeup products, nail polish and skin care! I’m here mainly for polishes and makeup! Glad that I made the right choice to have come by! Else, I’ll be missing everything in this bag!

Guess what I’ve grabbed home.. Nail polish, yes! Lipstain, yes! Nail cavier, yes! Some others covered by polishes so I’m gona go show it to you below..

LIPSTAIN

Lipstick or gloss wearing off after just one sip of water? With the pen that gives lips semi-permanent definition, a light stain and pampers them with moisturizing ingredients – the CATRICE Lip Stain! LIPSTICK

Like the light colour and moisturizing effect it gave my lips. Like all other lipstick, color didn’t last past lunch time but my lips managed to stay moisturized though! This was one of the 3 for S$10 item so nothing to complain!

MASCARA

Was looking for the “function” of this mascara other than being waterproof but apparently, other than waterproof, it doesn’t do anything else. LOL! I applied 2 coats of mascara and this is how it looks like.

PRIMER

I tried it yesterday and felt that it’s just so-so. Nothing fantastic but still good that I had apply a primer before my BB cream and all. It’s like an extra protection for me. There is just one thing I couldn’t stand about this primer… The scent. It smells a lil odd. For a moment i thought my EDP expired thus smelling weird but later realize it’s my primer.. arrgg.. Hence today, I had switched back to my Loreal primer.

Next up, it’s something to treat your feet!

These are the only Essence product that caught my attention! The whitening nail polish and a foot protection stick!

I’m totally in love with this whitening nail polish!! It’s just one thing we (me and my girlfriend) don’t understand.. WHY only TOE NAIL?? Can’t it be used on finger nail?? We seriously don’t know why… Porbably it’s just the marketing strategy.. They want you to buy a (finger) nail polish & a TOE nail polish.. LOL!

Heck care, I applied them on my chubby fingers and I’m totally amazed by it’s whitening effect! I’m having yellow nail because of the highly pigmented polish I used recently and also partly I had them on my nails for too long. It may not have shown in the picture but it’s really clear to me that my index and middle fingers are whitened! Not only that, I have ridge nails too.. This polish helps to level my nails and now i have beautiful white levelled nails! heartz them so much!!

I have not try the foot protection stick because I don’t have any new show recently! When I get the chance to use it, I’ll just update this post again?

POLISHES~~~~ WOW! They have limited colors but still I manage to grab a few for this year’s Christmas pressie!! Heard from the sales person (telling another customer) saying that a bottle of polish cost S$7.90?? Wow! Can you imagine I grabbed all these at half the price!?!

Caviers.. Nude.. Pink.. Orange.. Gold.. HO HO HO! Merry Christmas!!!!

Just when I was about to check out… my instinct pulled me to the corner where all the fragrance are seating…

Yes & I got tempted to bought one home! Kate Spade Twirl was the first that twirled to me (the sales lady gave me a strip of sample scent) and I got hooked! It smells … erm.. great! I don’t know how to explain the scent to you.. It’s not those floral or fruity scent.. it’s .. the scents of INDEPENDENT! LOL!!

I love sale! I hope more brands out there will have this kinda warehouse sale or private sale!! It’s a good time to whack up stocks!! hahaha!

“Last” Vanity Trove

Yo yo yo yo~~~ GOOD MORNING everybody! It’s really early now – like 5am?? Hahaha..! By the time I finish writing this post it should be….. 9am already! Anyway, that doesn’t matter… Today I’m gonna share with you what I rec’d in my last Vanity Trove!

Unknowingly I had subscribed VT for a year plus.. Wow how time flies! They have been introducing many new product to me and never fails to surprise mi (in good and bad way. Lol..)

But after they changed their concept, I feel that the surprise is not there anymore and $25 for samples sounds really expensive now.. 😦 none the least, I’ve made it all worthwhile in this trove!

Seee!! These are the items I had selected! They arrived in the morning via Ta-Q-Bin courier just before I head out for my long weekend staycation!! Yahoooo!

This is the Go60 mask that I had tried in previous trove and I find it AMAZING!!! It made my skin ultra smooth and ultimate hydrating!! I feel so wonderful after using it! The smoothness it give is by far the best among all the mask I had use!!! I can’t find much product details online yet but seriously I think u should really try this too if you have the chance!! It’s so good that I even clicked to get for other type of Go60 mask!!! It’s definitely not a waste of credit to get these mask!! *thumbs up*

Next up, makeup remover!!! Do you know why I’m so HAPPY to see my trove arrive before I head out for my staycation!? That is because, I can bring along my travel size makeup remover and no need to buy one from Watsons!

In my previous trove, I had rec’d Avancé remover before I find them very effective! It works over my expectation! The retail price is about S$28 something at BHG, little costly because the size ain’t very big not even sure if that bottle can last me a month.. 😦 BUT it’s really good you see… You can check out my previous post HERE for more information..

As for Silkygirl’s remover (I brought along for my staycation), I tried it last night and I feel it’s not as effective as Avancé or even Bioderm.. Yes, it does remove my makeup but I keep feeling its not clean enough because I dun see much “brown stain”(bb cream) on my cotton pad and not a lot of eyeliner found too.. Wonder is my face really clean..

Guess what’s this!!? Hahaha… It’s sooo cute!!! Nope! Not eye shadow.. Nope! Not blush color.. Definitely not compact powder.. More guess??

Did anyone say lip gloss??? Hahah!! Yes it is!! Comes in 3 color and they not only they look sweet they smell so sweet too!!! So regret I didn’t bring along for my staycation.. Awwww..

Next, mascara from Cyber Colors! If I’m not wrong Cyber Colors is exclusively available only at Sasa.. I’ve been using Cyber Colors blusher and they are quite within my expectation.. Only thing is there will be quite a fair bit of wastage as the powder is pretty loose.. I tried their mascara before (not this one) and they’re pretty good..So for this I’m quite sure they won’t fail me…

And.. My goodness, I didn’t expect it to come in full size.. LOLX! What a bargain!! HAHAHAHA….

Alright, now last but not least…

The fruity tea that I mentioned before that I will show you in one of my post!! I seriously didn’t expect it here!!! Hahaha… This taste much better than kilo off tea!!!

Seriously, it’s sad to bid goodbye but… We must always move fwd! For the sake of my pocket, I have to stop what I have to stop.. Moreover, seems like there are more and more kinds of sample box being introduced and their selling point? They are FREEE!! But free stuff comes with cons.. The down side is that they are bi-monthly boxes and the products they give I believe won’t be comparable to VT (paying box).. But who cares as long as I get my surprise!!

No woman can resist SALE!! I’m one of those who can’t!! It’s my 死穴 (lethal point).. Sale is a good time/chance u can grab something that u usually will not! Why not?? well, probably because its too ex? Or probably u’ve not used it before so not confident in that product? Or maybe ………. nevermind!! I believe pricing is the main reason! Hahaha!

Yes, thank you JPL for the lift label.. But …. still very scary when i stepped out of the lift although i know I’m at the right place.. Facing all white walls and I start to wonder where is the door to the “office”!?? (This is not horror movie right??)

I think it will be helpful if they had paste some directional signs for idiot like me.. (Maybe the management didn’t allow?) I dono about you but I was really freak out for about 2 mins before I try the door which I first thot is a carpark! And it turns out to be….. really a carpark… cum offices! Seriously the management floor plan at the lift was not helpful at all (for people who has not been there)!! T_T

I reached kinda early, like (erm) 11:15am?? JPL staffs are all still packing and moving stuffs.. There is this lady whom i didn’t get her name, gave us (early birds) a friendly smile and thank us for coming down (so early) – lol!

About 11.30am, she walked to us with a bottle of juice and this time, she tell us that the sale will start in another 10-15 mins time!!! Yeah for the prompt update!!!! Yeah again for the juice – it’s not some alibaba juice ok!!

It’s F&N Fruit Tree Fresh!! Call me cheapo! But this buys my patience!! My happy meter is full again!

I had an awesome time at the sale! Every counter had a staff waiting to serve u and answer to all your questions! Staff will promote their products yet doesn’t hard sell – no stress! They know their product well too!

Did buying without stress cost me more damage?? YES it did!!! “Sale” plays a part – BIG part!!!

SexyLook Hello Kitty Moisturizing & Whitening Rose Mask!! Seriously I’m not a HK fan but this ain’t gonna stop me from getting a good mask! Non-HK lover, don’t worry, you won’t look like HK when you’re doing your mask. Neither will you look like one when you’re done. It’s just marketing business, HK is a trend!

I tried this mask quite some times back and i like it and here i am grabbing more mask!! The rose scent is very soothing and the mask is really “well-marinated” in its essences! After placing the mask on my face, the essence will secretly roll down my chin to my neck minutes later – i had to pat the essence on my neck so that they get absorbed and not wasted while I’m masking! About 15-20 mins later, remove mask and gently message your face (& neck) in circular motion to get the essence penetrate through your skin! I pat them at time so that they can get in faster! =X (gently pat, not slap!)

And what’s better? Sale, of course! 3 boxes for $10 (UP: $9.90 per box if i didn’t hear wrongly from Doris (one of JPL staff)!! It’s almost like buy 1 get 2 FREEE! And u know what? Belif Hungarian Water Essence!! I’m using Belif products now and this essence sale came at the right time!! (I was still planning to grab them at belif store if I happen to pass by one! And now…. Mwahahahaa!! Call me lucky!!!!

This Hungarian Water Essence is a very light weight transparent essence. slightly heavier than water/toner only. It gets absorbs very quickly and and your skin can almost immediately feel moisten! K-Palette Real lasting Eyeliner and 1 Day Lash Perm Long Curl Mascara!!

Eyeliner first! This is a waterproof liquid liner that has won several awards!!

How can u not be tempted to get one?? Discount is not a lot for this.. $16 for 1 eyeliner (UP: $19.90)?

As my shopping bag gets heavier, my mind starts to get lighter…! I can’t think anymore!!! So just grab!!!

Next is this wonderful mascara! At this sale event, you can get it at $21 (UP: $25.90 I think) Yes, not very much good deal but still.. (like i said) at that moment I already lost my mind!! Everything is “sale! grab! sale! grab!” ROFL!

fresh and clean look ya?

After almost 8hrs (it’s 2pm++ now), totally no sign of smudge nor “gothic” look! Still clinging to my lashes nicely!

Btw, before i applied my mascara, i used my eyelash curler to curl my lashes a little and until now my lashes are still curled! What does this shows? The mascara is good or the eyelash curler is better? ~~I’ll snap some pic when i get home (5 hours later!)~~

8pm: Now that I’m home, my mascara is still smudge proof! No black tears no black shadow! You see!!

(I’m super loving this pic!!! See my eye!! I have dbl eye lid!!!! No glue no sticker ok!! Hahaha! This is call tired-eyelid! When my eye lid gets tired, it SAG and with a little push it will become a few-seconds-dbl-eye lid!)

This is really smear proof smudge proof waterproof!! And I think… I’M LOVING IT!!

There’s a newer version of this mascara which is “volume curl mascara”. Both have very good review if you do a simple google search.

By K-Palette, here’s another goodie! Overnight Eye Mask! This deal is $10 for a pair and $14 for 2 pair (twin pack)! If u buy 2 packs of twin pack eye mask, it’s even cheaper!! But erm… I forgot how much it is..

Update on 8th Jul: I have difficuly falling aslp!! I feel so uncomfy having something around my eye… i flip and turn until 3am, i decided to wake up and re-position my eye mask, this time, a little distance from my eye.. and… yes, i fell aslp. I guess i placed it too near my eye (lash line).. I’m not sure if my eye bags are gone… but i know i gained a sleep line. the patch caused a sleep line on my face (sign of aging #101: sleep line takes a long time to recover!!)

Will i continue to use this mask? OF COURSE – at least until this pcs wear out!! According the the staff, this mask can be reused for 3 months – as long as u keep it clean/hygiene!! After that i may not continue..

My only problem is that the shampoo does not lather enuff foam for me to feel like i’m shampooing my hair..
