My stash of… Lipcolors (2016)

YEH! I’m writing again! I’ve haven’t been sharing much on makeup product this year isn’t it, especially lip color!

I’ve been kinda into lip color (again) lately but the thing is I usually put them on only in the morning. I don’t do touch up, I don’t bring them out.. LOL! Anyway, that’s beside the point. Nice color must still be shared!

And so… here are the latest collection I have.. Enough to create different look for 2 weeks!! *pout*

Today post, I will only be sharing with my favorite few out of this 12 sticks!

Let’s start with something new ..

MAYBELLINE – LIP FLUSH BITTEN LIPS LIPSTICK (RD02)

Maybelline – this is definitely not my first gradient lip stick! My first was from VDL. It was pretty sheer and girls who love natural look wold probably love it (you can check it out from HERE).

I thought this would be the same too until i tried the tester at Watson’s and I’m like .. “Wow, quite pigmented as compared to VDL triple shot!” Not only that, it’s pretty easy to glide on and it can cover my dry chapped lips!

Did I mention, it smells sweet too!

LOREAL – BLOSSOM TINT CARESSE (B06 Rose Blossom)

This cushion tint gives a velvety finish on its own and works great too when used with other lip color! I just love how the cushion can help to create gradient lips so easily and NO MESS at all!

And if you didn’t know yet, this tint can be a blusher and eye shadow too!

Below image shows u the different look it can give.. Yes, all using the same stick!

Well I’ve tried to do some laying of the color and I think they looks great!!

Top image is my Maybelline’s bitten lips and bottom is layed with Loreal’s tint caresse.

Chio (pretty) right? LOL.. I like how the laying works! The way it gives a playful yet not too drama look! And it’s not the boring monotone color! So 3D!

I’ve tried them on my hands to show u a more accurate color tone of my bitten lips (it seems more pink on lips in those photos).. It’s suppose to be more red though..

I’m definitely getting other colors to my collection!

Next, I’m sharing with you some collection I’ve got from VDL! It’s not triple shot but something that caught my eyes too!

VDL – Pantone Expert Color Lip Cube Tranquility – 01 Serenity

I won’t exactly say this is a lip color because it doesn’t really give you pink/red/violet color on your lips. Instead it works more like a (sheer) lip balm/ lip base.

You applied it on your lips (clear) and just wait few sec you’ll see it turned sheer pink!

IMO, this wasn’t as good as Son & Park Sugar Tint but I love how the blue and pink marble effect the lipstick look! #socool!

Taking another VDL color that I have (105 Pink Positive) I layer it on top of my Serenity!

Such elegant color not only looks beautiful, it gives SPF protection and moisturized your lips too!

If you have realized, my VDL lipstick all comes in a cube top! This is not found in other competitors product yet! So what’s so good about the cubic edge? It actually helps your draw a more accurate/define cupid bow – easier to achieve one too!!

Next up, my happiest purchase!!

URBAN DECAY – MATTE REVOLUTION (1993)

Bought this during a sale event and until now I can’t get over the excitement!!

As the name suggest, it’s a matte lip color. But you can see it’s not those drying matte color. It still give a lil natural shine and cover my chapped lips well! All this thanks to it’s creamy non drying formula!

Another beauty of this lippie is that it can gives you different look depending on how many layers you apply and how you do it!

From a natural to a rocker! LOL.. For use who prefer lighter tone, you can achieve with 1993 too! Just lightly dap it on your lips and blend them!

Seriously, everyday different look is achievable from these different lippie!!! Try changing a color today!!

My All Time Favourite – Makeup Stash!

POST of the year!! A compilation of my favourite makeup product here!

What can get me excited? Anything NEW..!!! I remember when I was a kid, I always wanted to go home after I got my toy!! That’s why my mom always put my “shopping session” last.. 😥 Now that I’ve grown up, this habit never change.. It just got improvised! Instead of wanting to go home to open up my toy immediately, I opened them up when I got a chance to!! Like, when we’re sitting down for dinner or while waiting to bus/train?? But of course this time, it ain’t children’s toy anymore.. It’s my beauty products..

I’ve always love to try new things!! Eyeliner.. BB cream/foundation.. Blusher.. Lip color.. As long as it’s new it’s worth a try until you know it’s not. LOL! So after trying several products, below are the few that becomes the apple of my eye.. ❤

Laneige BB Cushion Pore Control

What I like about it: Gives a dewy look & made my complexion looks really brightened!

What I don’t like about it: It can’t withstand the humid weather in Singapore and I look really CUI (ugly – makeup turned cakey over the forehead/nose/chin) by the time I reached office.

Remedy: Use it only on non-working day, like going on a date? *heartz*

Ettusais BB Cream

(suppose to be pink tube, not this white one)

What I like about it: Matt look that last! Good oil control and give pretty decent coverage!

What I don’t like about it: Probably not the latest technology already..

Remedy: They gonna improvised it?

Covermark Creamy Liquid Foundation

What I like about it: It cover marks and look very natural! Thin layer of foundation is all you need to flawless good skin look! Another point worth mentioning, this foundation sure can withstand hot sun! I wear it to work everyday and still looks good end of the day! FYI, my journey to office is often exhuasting~ T_T Up the slope.. Long walk.. Hot sun.. Yes, regular BB cream will just melt and make me look disgusting but this creamy liquid foundation stay totally cool!!

What I don’t like about it: Not at this moment..

SKII Cream Foundation

What I like about it: You just need a lil dot to look flawless and a lil more on pigment are for excellent coverage..! Not only I look good almost the whole day with this foundation, my T-zone are well controlled (in terms of oiliness) too!! *whistle*

What I don’t like about it: The way this foundation is packed, I feel it’s not very hygienic and quality of the foundation may be affected as we open and close the lid too many time. 😦 Plus, it’s SUPER expensive loh..

Remedy: Hygiene wise, use a spatula? Cost wise, save up to buy..!! It’s worth the cents!

Marc Jacob Skyliner

What I like about it: Smooth application, opaque color, super long lasting & doesn’t smudge! Click HERE to read more about it.

What I don’t like about it: Expensive, perhaps? S$36 for one regular size skyliner.

Remedy: Save up before splurging? LOL

Holika Holika Jewel-light waterproof Eyeliner

What I like about it: Smooth application, opaque color and comes in many color too!

What I don’t like about it: Price are kinda costly if you are going to purchase them in retail store/counter. Some might not like the fact that it needs a sharpener (but I’m fine with this..)

Remedy: Purchase online! =X Qoo10 latest promo 2 for S$8.85 (or something!!) Sharpener cost less than a dollar..

VDL Triple Shot Tintbar

What I like about it: When you say convenient.. Nothing beats this!! Three tone in one!! Ombre/Gradient lips in a sec!

What I don’t like about it: Not very long lasting and colour is a bit sheer.

Remedy: Good to use this if you want a natural gradient lip color.

Peri Pera Tint Glow Stick

What I like about it: Nice bright color that’s not too exaggerating! Healthy glow.. and LASTING~ LOOONG LASTING…

What I don’t like about it: Breaks TOO EASILY!!! Broken when I first used it. Lucky I didn’t throw away..

Remedy: Hell I have no idea!

Canmake

What I like about it: Has different tone of color in a palette and it has shimmers! This will brighten your look and make you look more cheery.

What I don’t like about it: I will let you know when I find out..

Cybercolor

What I like about it: Like the sleek design! It comes with 4 tones of a particular colour and it has PLENTY of shimmer!!! Bling Bling~~

What I don’t like about it: Costly as compare to drug store brands..

Qoo10 Cocomo

My blog readers will know that I hardly recommend any seller from Qoo10 on my blog. Not that they’re no good. It’s just that there’s nothing special worth promoting for them.

However, today I will be sharing with you one of my favourite seller and the things they sell are definitely worth mentioning!!

COCOMO

These are the products which I had bought so far… I didn’t buy at one go of course!! they are being brought home over a period of time..

I will not be drilling in depth into every product but more of showing you what I’ve bought from them!

I remember the first product I bought from COCOMO is ETTANG Rubber Mask!

I’ve tried both old and new version!! Equally good but new version is better in the sense that they look more attractive and comes with a safety seal!

I did a post in May 2015 sharing my experience in using this rubber mask! If you’re keen to try this rubber mask, do give it a read by clicking HERE!

Well, I have not use the GOLD MASK yet so no comments on that! But but.. I read a lot of good review about it..!! Probably I should use it soon!!!

Next product from COCOMO that caught my attention is BERRISOM LIP TINT PACK! Don’t think I have written any post about it yet but had briefly share the goodness on my lip stash post!

I bought 3 colors (separate purchase) and among all I think I like Vivid Scarlet best!

**BTW, if you’re wondering why my hand look so FAIR, it’s Oseque High-end Touch Foundation! It’s a lil too fair for me so i will not be sharing much on that!

It’s bright and highly pigmented! You can check out my review of this HERE & HERE!

Next up is another HAPPY PURCHASE!! SON&PARK LIP CRAYON!
Out of so many nice color why did I purchase one that has NO COLOR!!? It’s not for no reason okay~ This was one of the most recommended color – natural yet sweet looking!

And…. Sugar Tint is Jeon Ji Hyun’s HOT PICK!

I was still worried that the “color” will not show on my lips but… SEEE!!!!

Can see the difference right!!!!

I thought this was pretty awesome and totally worth the price!!! The sweet rose scent is mild and soothing! Application is smooth and not sticky at all.

Lips looks so kissable and soft now!! Definitely recommending this to girls who like natural makeup and wana heal dry lips!

Update 10 Jan 2015: So new year new start and here’s my NEW lip color!! Peri Pera Tint Glow Stick ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿ Bought Peri Pera Tint Glow Stick on Qoo10 after testing it at one of the departmental store.. LOL!! (Don’t tell me you don’t do that!!) Bought this pinkish tint call “Magic Of Love”..

Type: Tint stick

What I like: Very nice shade of pink!! color is lasting tooo!

What I don’t like: Although it’s a very pretty pink but.. 😦 breaks too easily…. SEEEEE!! Only first use and TRAGEDY!!

Well.. tragedy aside, I still love the color…. It’s pink (of course) and it looks sheer..

How it looks: HA! Benefit of lip tint!! Look as if it’s natural pinkish lips!! It’s pretty lasting I must say~ Oh and no weird taste!! LOL.. Other than it breaks easily, I think it’s pretty nice lip tint color!! What do you think??

Marc Jacobs Beauty – Lust for Lacquer Lip Vinyls ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿ – Kissability

Type: Lip gloss

What I like: NUDE with shimmer is too awesome!! Not only its a great nude shade it has this menthol sensation on your lips when u apply it!

What I don’t like: Can’t really see the shimmer when applied i suppose .. but that’s not any big issue to me.

How it looks: This lip gloss not only look shiny, it give my lips a little tingle that lasted quite a while. Pretty cool without having plump lips!! Another thing you can’t see from the picture is that it smell nice too..!

Laneige Two Tone Lipbar ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿ – Red Blossom

Type: Lip stick

What I like: Well, it looks very similar to VDL’s triple shot BUT Laneige lip bar are more pigmented and they have more variety of colors!

Yup, from what you see above, they have 12 shades! From nude to cute to sexy! The color I chose (I think is red blossom if I didn’t remember wrongly) is more to a natural shade.. Although it does looks very redish brown on its own but when you apply, okie la, not that scary.. (okie, maybe not very obvious here.. will try another shot another day!)

What i don’t like: You need a lil practice to get the shade on your lips correctly.

How it looks: Above is just one thin layer of red Blossom and below is more opaque one..

Sui bo (Nice not)?? LOL!! It’s pretty natural and blends pretty well!! I think I will get more colors then show them to you on another post!! Stay tune!

Secret Key Sweet Glam Tint Glow ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿

I bought this on Qoo10 about 3 months ago. I didn’t buy this because I read reviews or gotten any recommendation.. It was an impulse buy (sh*t!).. However, it turns out a pleasure purchase!

Type: Tint bar

What I like: Because it was on sale! It was a 1+1+free gift (eyeliner) offer on Qoo10 that’s why I decided to add Juicy Orange and Chic Burgundy to cart!!

See! Only S$16.50!! Super wu hua (worth it) right!!? However, promotion is often for a limited time only. Below is the latest promo they are having currently and seems to be slightly pricier too..

Anyway, let’s not drift too far.. Back to my lip color, Actually I like it that is very lightweight and color is so sweet!!

What I don’t like: It’s pretty expensive without the offer eh??

How it looks: I thought this was pretty dark shade of red and I start wondering if I will even use it.. (sh*t)! I tried it on and looks like it’s pretty decent!

Kinda like the color and if you’re thinking what I’m thinking now, the answer is NO. This color is NOT the same as Peri Pera Tint Glow Stick above. This tint color is closer to red whereas and Peri Pera is more pinkish..

If you’re looking for something more long lasting, I would recommend Peri Pera’s though.. It won’t last you one whole day, but at least I can still see some color after half a day..

Secret Key Sweet Glam Tint Glow ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿ – JUICY ORANGE

Type: Tint bar

What I like: Light weight lip color and did i mention, it’s quite moisturising.

What I don’t like: Color is too light, perhaps?

How it look: It doesn’t seems to appear visible?? It just looks like a lip balm. Or was I too used to pink lips?? As compared, I think Chic Burgundy stands out more..

Berrisom Lip Tint Pack ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿

Type: Tint Tattoo

What I like: it’s really long lasting and NO touch up required even after lunch!!Yes, Berrisom Lip Tint Pack is a 12 hour long lasting lip tattoo! Doesn’t smudge! Doesn’t stain your teeth!

What I don’t like: You have to apply carefully else your lips may look outta shape! Plus, you need to wait for 5-10 mins for the tint to dry before you and peel it off and have the long lasting tattoo color on.

How it looks: It’s like fresh blood, with perfume one.. It may look runny here but it’s quite sticky when applied on lips..Kinda difficult to glide through at one go nicely..

Peel off when it’s dry and ta-daaaa….

See the color??! It really stays leh!! I’m pretty amazed!

Final result is AWESOME!!! I have natural healthy looking red lip! Do check out my separate post on Berrisom Lip Tint Pack HERE!!

Son & Park Lip Crayon ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿ – Sugar Tint

Type: Tint bar

What I like: Light weight lip color, awesome rose scent! It is not sticky and application is really smooth!

What I don’t like: NOTHING! This is my new love!!!

How it looks: After application, give it few seconds and you will see the color starts to change. Now your lips look soft and kissable!!!

Peri Pera Lip Tint Gloss ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿ – Sweet Cherry

Type: Lip tint

What I like: Super Opaque! Easy to apply and color is really sweet looking!

What I don’t like: The tint is lil too runny and gotta be careful when handling so as not to drop it and stained our clothes.

Yes, above is one swipe across! Nice hot pink ya?

How it look: I receive compliment when wearing this color! However, it’s really too bright for my liking. Hence I will always apply as usual and then use tissue to dab off a bit color..
