Happy Anniversary LBBB!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY The Little Black Beauty Box! Happy ONE Year Anniversary! This month’s box is a little costly but it’s just about S$2 more (I think..) for a box full of goodies!

If you have realize, it came in a PINK RIBBON this time round! It was a black ribbon for my Shiseido Box! & as usual, it came with a personalized note.. Curious about what I’ve got this month?? Scroll down!

JAM PACKED OF GOODNESS!!! All I can say is “wah” “wow” “OH” when I opened up the box! This box is filled with quantity and quality!!

First thing that caught my attention was….. Laura Mercier!

Yeah! Got a Foundation Primer and Foundation Powder in my box!

The foundation primer is a lightweight, creamy gel meant to be used prior to foundation, creating an invisible layer that acts as a buffer to outside elements. Leaves makeup looking fresh & colour-true the entire day.

However, what I can share with you is that a 250ml shampoo cost €12,75 (selling at S$28 locally, that’s pretty costly) and Korres is a brand from Greece, if I’m not wrong!

Ah HA! I’m sure you’re not alien with this!!! Macadamia is so so well known for this healing oil treatment! All beauty boxes are so recommending this to their subscribers! I got it for the third time already! What can this Healing Oil Treatment do?? LOTS!!

I’m so amazed by the “reduced drying time by an amazing 40-50%” so I went to read on more and found this…

OK! I’m sure beauty freaks are gonna love this item! Eye shadow pencil from Nars! Aigle Noir is the color I’ve got here and I like it! Black base with gold shimmers. The first question that pops in my mind is…. “What is this man!??” Totally clueless like an ant!

From the word HYDRA Veil, I can more or less tells it’s something to do with Hydrating but veil..? hmm like a cover? a shade? Well.. I’m half correct.. This is a Hydrating Primer!

Like what is says.. It’s SALE again!! The last time I went to Essence sales is also within this year (2013)…. erm no! It was LAST YEAR! Wow.. how time fly! You can read post from HERE. Essence have really good and affordable makeup products, nail polish and skin care! I’m here mainly for polishes and makeup! Glad that I made the right choice to have come by! Else, I’ll be missing everything in this bag!

Guess what I’ve grabbed home.. Nail polish, yes! Lipstain, yes! Nail cavier, yes! Some others covered by polishes so I’m gona go show it to you below..

LIPSTAIN

Lipstick or gloss wearing off after just one sip of water? With the pen that gives lips semi-permanent definition, a light stain and pampers them with moisturizing ingredients – the CATRICE Lip Stain! Prep your lips for all day colour by first applying a base with our CATRICE Colour Infusion Longlasting Lipstain (S$7.90). It offers the desired color infusion for our lips! LIPSTICK

Like the light colour and moisturizing effect it gave my lips. Like all other lipstick, color didn’t last past lunch time but my lips managed to stay moisturized though! This was one of the 3 for S$10 item so nothing to complain!

MASCARA

Was looking for the “function” of this mascara other than being waterproof but apparently, other than waterproof, it doesn’t do anything else. LOL! I applied 2 coats of mascara and this is how it looks like.

PRIMER

I tried it yesterday and felt that it’s just so-so. Nothing fantastic but still good that I had apply a primer before my BB cream and all. It’s like an extra protection for me. There is just one thing I couldn’t stand about this primer… The scent. It smells a lil odd. For a moment i thought my EDP expired thus smelling weird but later realize it’s my primer.. arrgg.. Hence today, I had switched back to my Loreal primer.

Next up, it’s something to treat your feet!

I’m totally in love with this whitening nail polish!! It’s just one thing we (me and my girlfriend) don’t understand.. WHY only TOE NAIL?? Can’t it be used on finger nail?? We seriously don’t know why… Porbably it’s just the marketing strategy.. They want you to buy a (finger) nail polish & a TOE nail polish.. LOL!

Heck care, I applied them on my chubby fingers and I’m totally amazed by it’s whitening effect! I’m having yellow nail because of the highly pigmented polish I used recently and also partly I had them on my nails for too long. It may not have shown in the picture but it’s really clear to me that my index and middle fingers are whitened! Not only that, I have ridge nails too.. This polish helps to level my nails and now i have beautiful white levelled nails! heartz them so much!!

I have not try the foot protection stick because I don’t have any new show recently! When I get the chance to use it, I’ll just update this post again?

POLISHES~~~~ WOW! They have limited colors but still I manage to grab a few for this year’s Christmas pressie!! Heard from the sales person (telling another customer) saying that a bottle of polish cost S$7.90?? Wow! Can you imagine I grabbed all these at half the price!?!

Caviers.. Nude.. Pink.. Orange.. Gold.. HO HO HO! Merry Christmas!!!!

Just when I was about to check out… my instinct pulled me to the corner where all the fragrance are seating…

Yes & I got tempted to bought one home! Kate Spade Twirl was the first that twirled to me (the sales lady gave me a strip of sample scent) and I got hooked! It smells … erm.. great! I don’t know how to explain the scent to you.. It’s not those floral or fruity scent.. it’s .. the scents of INDEPENDENT! LOL!!

I love sale! I hope more brands out there will have this kinda warehouse sale or private sale!! It’s a good time to whack up stocks!! hahaha!

It’s time for shopping again!!!! Hahahah!! Don’t u just love to shop whole day, all year round!!?!? Man I wish I could!

Bought a few items and decided to pick 3 out of the many to share with u!! I’m not going into product knowledge or branding background today! It will be just my POV! So…. Let’s start!

I believe L’oréal is not a new brand to many of u… Most girls started their makeup life with one or two L’oréal stash ya? Today at BHG ODB sales, I whacked these two makeup base for myself…!

Lucent Magique Pure Light Primer & Base Magique Transforming Soothing Primer!

Why buy 2 u asking?? Hahaha! Because I can’t decided which to settle for!! They both give different result!

Lucent Magique Pure Light Primer give u a radiant face!! Like you are giving out inner shine~ hahaha! Ok, I exaggerated..!

As u can see the primer is white in color and it contains a little shimmer (I guess that is what makes ur face bright like they’re glowing) the primer is quite runny but slightly thicker than water.. Application was easy too!

Love the glow that it gives and yet not too bright! People who wants radiant, brightened and/or dewy face, this Pure Light Primer is definitely for u!

Looking at the above “with & without” comparison, very obvious that my skin glows with Lucent Magique! Hahaha… Don’t u juz love the radiance?

Next here is the Base Magique Transforming Soothing Primer! This primer works great for people who wants matt complexion, less visible pores and smooth smooth face!!

It comes in a bottle, velvet cream like primer!

Application was a little challenging for me.. It doesn’t spread on nicely on my hand.. The cream doesn’t seem to get ‘absorb’ in and its like keep rolling on my skin.. Used double the time i use to apply pure light primer to get this done.

On the other hand, my sis like this lots! It went on perfectly on her hand when she tried the sample!! No cakey residue like I what I experience..

But after a while (was still doing my shopping in BHG).. I touchedy hand again and my skin feels smooth.., VERY SMOOTH!! I was like “wow! Not bad eh!?!?” It does takes a whole for the product to get used to my skin huh? (Hahaha) that is when I decided to grab a bottle tooo!!

I tried to show u the “with & without” comparison.. But doesn’t seems to show AT ALL! Hahah! FAILED! But it really smoothen my skin quite a bit! Even some wrinkles went *POOF* missing!!

Putting both hands together, I think u can see difference?? Radiant vs Smoothen!! Who wins!??

Other than L’oréal primers, I had also bought Ettusias Mineral Powder!!

First thing I want to tell u is that…. The powder puff is really very soft!!!!!! Feels like a princess putting on powder! Hahahaa!

This mineral powder has little coverage as compared to their mineral compact powder.. As I din wana add on the weight on my face, I choose this loose powder to sort of set my makeup and gives it a matt look..
