When I meet new people, the first thing that would usually catch my attention is their eyes. Eyes can speak a thousand words!

And today I’m gonna share my “eyes opener” collection with you!! … Circle lens!!

Just few months ago, LensFlavors approached me to introduce themselves and offered an opportunity for collaboration! LensFlavors is an online circle lenses store, if you didn’t know! Although they are still building their company profile but they are dedicated to being one of the largest online circle lenses stall in the market!!

Pretty excited about having another pair circle lens, I quickly went online to check out the variety they have.. They carry quite a few brands indeed – some popular ones like Geo, G&G, Super Pinky, Vassen..

However, the only problem I faced during the selection time was that there isn’t enough swatch for me to make reference.. Hence I need to google them most of the time. 😦 troublesome I know..

After all the googling, I finally decided to pick G&G’s Shinny Green (aka Puffy 3 tone)!

The reason I pick this lens is because i DO NOT have a green lens before/yet! I have been wanting to try green lens yet I do not want the green to be too striking and scary! I prefer more “natural” tone, less drama..

One of the perks they offer to their customer is…. *drumroll* THEY DO FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE!!!! I ever tried ordering a pair of (god damn cheap) circle lens online but paying the shipping fee to have it ship to me is soooooo… *speechless!* End of the day, my lenses were probably just a few cents cheaper than retail shops out there.. -__- Hence I’m really happy to see they do free shipping – even though it takes about 14-25 days to reach me, I’M TOTALLY FINE WITH IT!!

So after I inform LensFlavors my choice, I went off to my vacation!!! I didn’t really have to wait very long for it because more than half of the waiting time, I’m away for vacation! My lens reach me about 3-4 days later after I returned to Singapore (away for about 9 days) Fast isn’t it??

So here come my package!!

My circle lens came in good condition and were pretty well packed! It actually came with a free gift too.. How nice of them!! (I’ll show u the free gift another on my Instagram)

I have really small pupil that’s why I like wearing circle lens!! it can enlarge and enhance my eye!!!

G&G Shinny Green is really comfortable to wear and the dia of 14.5mm really makes your eyes sparkle! Plus removing 14.5 dia lens are sooo easy! I strongly recommend getting (at least) 14.5mm if you wish to have big eyes. Plus lenses that are too big (dia) may be too drying for your eyes..

Under indoor lighting, you can see that the green is not very obvious – which I quite like it this way! It blends well with Asian’s eyes and not looking too fake.. It’s somewhere between being noticeable but yet not too loud..

Comfort level: 4/5

It’s as good as wearing nothing, I don’t feel any discomfort at anytime after wearing it.. The only time i’m having trouble is when i have to put it on.. I’m not a regular lens wearer so will always spend quite a while to put on a pair of lens.. LOL!

Enlarging effect: 5/5

The team is very prompt in response and they take feedback seriously! I remember mentioning to them that there are not enough swatch in their site to show buyer how the lens looks like and that’s causing great inconvenience to potential buyer. I’m glad that they take in the feedback and acted on it! Okay, they may not really be acting upon my feedback but I’m still glad to see that their website have more swatches now!!!!

If you had realised, their lenses may not be the cheapest you can find online BUT since they are giving FREE shipping, the total cost actually come out to be cheaper than most online store..! Geo Diamond Violet Review

If you have been following me, you would have realized that I am pretty obsessed with circle lenses nowadays! I hope it’s not too late to learn about the beauty of BIG EYE!! LOL…

Started with 14.2 dia and thought it was just so-so~ can’t really tell if you’re wearing lenses.. VERY natural i suppose! So I start to look for BIGGER lenses – 14.5/14.8 dia..

Thanks to PINKY PARADISE, I’ve got my FIRST 14.8 dia violet lenses…!

From the title suggested, this is a pair of GEO Diamond Violet lenses! And if you didn’t know, most of the contact lenses you ordered from Pinky Paradise comes with a FREE MACARON CASE! (Yes, like the one I got in the pic!) Why I say MOST is because I’m not sure if it is ALL… So far, most that I browsed comes with it!

Pretty shock when I got my lenses! It’s so bright~ I was so worried the lenses will look super purplish when I wear it! I was looking for something more natural yet not boring though..

Image on the left was without flash and right was with flash..

It was quite easy to tell which is the correct side from the design of the lenses (phew~).. I’m sure you can tell from the image..

Now let’s check out the lenses swatch!

14.8 dia is BIG! It covered most of the white and I have BIG BIG eye now~ I took some before and after swatch for easy comparison and showed my BFF. Her response made me sad (at the same time happy!)

“Wow.. Big difference..” was one of her reply.. (seems like I have really small eyes all this while..)

BUT glad that my eyes can communicate better now! *blink blink* LOL…

Comparing with and without flash, I think both are pretty likable! My eye look BIGGER, a lot BIGGER, than before..

The color kinda blend well with my black eye hence it’s pretty safe for wearing them to work (especially if your work place is conservative)..

More swatch…?? SURE!!!

Without flash, you can still see the design but lightly. With flash, it just made the color more obvious..

Either way, they are really VERY PRETTY!

What?? Too much close up??

Okie, feedback noted!

How about this….?

Overall experience for wearing 14.8 dia circle lens was good!! Love the enlarging effect it gave me and the comfort level was as good as wearing nothing on my eye! The only down side is probably I have to OPEN my eye really BIGGG to put on the lenses! Else every thing is fine! You don’t even have to worry about having a tough time removing your lenses. Bigger lenses are easier to remove!!

Definitely a good lenses to have when going for a date or when we need to look alert/charming!

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY!!!!

DHL package received!! In my previous post I shared a sneak preview with you and now here’s the real thing!

I chose DHL delivery this time as I need to have my items send to me before month end. Else usually I’m total alright with normal mail which takes about 2 weeks (at least) to arrive..

In conjunction with the current promo, I got myself ONE free sample lens too! Like so lame!? Only ONE PIECE?? How to wear it out??? But I guess that’s the whole purpose, It’s meant to let you try and see its effect.. If you like it, you can go ahead to buy it from them. How smart! Question is… there’s no description about the sample lens, where should I start looking if I like it??

Anyway, that’s beside the point.. Now I can’t wait to show you my GEO Princess Mimi Almond Brown (Bambi Series)!! It’s not gonna be a lengthy post so don’t worry..

Well, I think it look pretty natural! With a diameter of 14.8, I had to open my eyes really BIG to put on the lenses! Although it’s a little challenging to put it on but removing the lenses was a piece of cake! So much easier to take it out then a 14.2 dia! Needless to say the enlarging effect!

Shall share more picture on this lenses the next time I wear them again!!

Geo Princess Mimi Almond Brown (Bambi Series)

Few weeks back, I did my FIRST online purchase for contact lenses! I was so excited about it and took me a few hours to decide on ONE design that I should buy and try first!! I was glad I made the purchase because the lenses was so pretty!! BUT you know what? Recently, I found another website that sells even more color/decorative lenses!!

Wow, trust me! Zooming down to just one or two lenses to check out your cart is NOT AN EASY JOB!! Took me few days to log in log out, google here and there for reviews/image and finally decided to get a pair of brown circle lenses!! So boring? I know.. But it’s not ordinary brown lenses okay! I will show you at the end of the post..

I’m now all excited to see my lenses and my FREE macaron case!! I purchased on 4th March and today (6 Mar) it has reached Singapore DHL already!! I hope I’m getting it tonight~!

It took me soooo long to finally decided to buy contact lens online!! There are so many HORROR story out there about buying lens online and how you can get blind!! Like the one HERE & HERE?? These are not the worst but enough to bring awareness..

If you’re like me, new to wearing decorative lenses, know the risk before you decide to bring it on! Wearing any kind of contact lenses, including decorative ones, can cause serious damage to your eyes if the lenses are not used correctly. These risks include:

• Allergic reactions
• Corneal abrasion – a cut or scratch on the cornea
• Infection
• Decreased vision
• Blindness

I went to a recommended optometrist in AMK to learn how to put on and remove contact lens.. It may seems like a simple act but trust me, newbie are definitely NERVOUS to even put your finger near your eyeball!! Hahaha (well, at least I’m nervous).. It took me more than 10 mins to put it in and more than 15 mins to take it out FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! Holy sh*t!!! We were laughing so hard at my shaky fingers!! But once you get it, it’s pretty easy already~! And now, I can wear my decorative/circle lenses at ease.. 🙂

With that, I shall show you my first purchase from Honeycolor.com.. This is a pretty reliable online seller. I know many people buy from this site and have positive experience..

I bought Vassen’s Rainbow Eyes Gray! Why this attracted me is… *drumroll* THE LOW PRICE of course!!! It’s a yearly lenses for S$16.49, WHY NOT!? Of course, shipping fee is another killer that’s why I chose my first “online” pair from the SALE list..

Total paid including shipping is S$26.93..

Item came in good condition and came with FREE contact lens case!!

The back of the box has got instruction on how to open the lenses bottle if you’re clueless… But (aiyo) it’s so easy, who needs it man!?

So here’s my lenses.. It look pretty faded as compare to the image online but..

I think the color will show better when we put it on…

I feeel that I look fairer leh! Am I or just my illusion?? LOL.. It had enlarged my pupil but i think because it doesn’t have the black rim, the effect is less obvious..

I like the dreamy look when wearing it and I can hardly feel the lenses too! Totally comfortable! So far I’ve only tried Freshkon & Vassen.. IMO, I think Vassen is more comfortable and because it has a bigger diameter, taking it out is so much easier!!
