Vanity Trove X Cosmopolitan!

Been hearing all the hoo-ha about VanityTrove Cosmopolitan Beauty Authority & finally I can get my hands on it!!! HURRAAYYYY!!

So here’s Goldwell Style Sign Full Rebel! Erm, I’m not really into this althought it promise good holding power! Why? Because it’s too sticky!! So much more heavier then whipped cream! As sticky as a glue! & it feels as if my hair is gona stick together (like tangle up).. Eeew… I prefer the curling cream iSalon recommended much much more!

This is the curling cream Susan recommend to me when i did my perm at iSalon! I ain’t that interested initially because I thought it works like a hair moose giving my hair a wet look throughout the day or a hair wax where the holding power is a nay.

However, to my surprise, it has amazing styling power! Why did I not use the word “holding” power? because it doesn’t HOLD your curl! You do not need to stand in front of the mirror and start grabbing/scrunching your hair! All you need to do is twirl your hair with this cream when it is almost dry then let your hair be.. You will get beautiful natural curls after that!! NO NEED MIRROR! I SOMPA (I swear)~! Best part about it is, it’s not expensive! S$19 for a bottle like this and each time all I use is just 2 pumps!

OK.. I’m so excited to see this, Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion! SPF50 PA+++ is really tempting to me!! It always gives me a dewy and natural skin look. It “lightens” my freckles when I dap this bb cream on them (dap for better coverage)! On other area, I just apply per normal, swipe them all over and I’m done. Dewy, checked! Coverage checked!

Sheet mask from b.liv by cellnique! I tried the Bright is Right mask and thought is good but not enough for me to come back again..

DEEP CLEANSING OIL from ZA!! Just nice I need a makeup remover!

Belif Oil Control Moisturizer Fresh! I’m currently using Belif products, they are great to start but after some time i realize the effect is no longer that effective. Is it because my skin got used to it? I still remember how it hydrates my skin when I first try them out! So ladies, you can consider this if you need hydrating products!

I only wanted to inform them so that they can be more careful next time (2nd time i rec’d a leaked product). I didn’t thought of demanding for a replacement because it just didn’t came into my mind but they offered so i accepted. HAHAHA!! Pro-active customer service is what keeps a customer coming back. *thumbs up* Thanks for the replacement VT, I had rec’d them..

Overall, I’m still satisfied with my VanityTrove Cosmopolitan Beauty Authority Trove! If I can get Majolica Majorca Lash Expanding Edge Meister and/or Shiseido Professional The Hair Care Aqua Intensive Mask, I will be even happier!! HAHAHAHA!! Can’t get too greedy huh???

Singapore Womens’ Weekly – Dove Photo Shoot

This is totally unexpected! Got a call from Dove (Unilevel) inviting me down for a photo shoot! Why?? Because my testimonial for Dove Deo was selected to be publish in Singapore Women’s Weekly September issue!!!! Yeah~!! You can read the testimonial HERE.

My first magazine shoot! Other than feeling excited it’s still excited! Excited from head to toe!! hahaha! It’s a really good experience and i’m glad i came! A very jovial makeup artist (guy on the left of pic), a very professional hair stylist (guy with specs on the right), very cool photographer & a very friendly team!

After the shoot, we are all given a set of Dove hamper! *peek*

This is crazy! FULL SIZE of everything! Shampoo, conditioner, hair treatment, shower gel, deodorant spray & deodorant roll-on!! Cool right!? Thanks Dove!!

Before i end this post, i just wana say.. I’m definitely loving this makeup!! It has totally cover my freckles!!!!!!!! Totally!! see.. no need any app to edit complexion!!

By all means call me a vain pot! a BIG vain pot!! mwahahaha! But i’m falling in love with myself once more and even more!

Dove Whitening Original Deodorant

Hi Readers!!! Its me again! After a busy week i finally have got time to do a post for you! Singapore weather is totally crazy now! Hot!! Hazy!! what else!? The PSI (Pollutant Standard Index) here has hit 401 on 21st June, my DAD’s Birthday!! What a day to remember~! My trip to the River Safari with kiddy has been affected too! But I’ll share that with you on another post! Today’s post is about Dove Whitening Original Deodorant!

Rec’d this deodorant from Dove early June for a review.. erm. not really a review, more like a testimonial? Got this chance to do review from Singapore Womens’ Weekly magazine! This is not sample size or travel size! It’s the actual retail size deodorant!

Dove Whitening Original Deodorant is the best deodorant i had use so far. No kidding! The whitening effect aside, the scent is enough to make me keep wanting more! It has a very pleasant calming scent, like baby powder. This may sounds crazy but it works like how lavender works on me. Wearing Dove Whitening Original Deodorant during the day, i feel fresh and clean! Wearing it at night, makes me relax & sleep well too . The deodorant scent is something i look forward to each time i use it!

That’s not all, another thing i like about Dove Whitening Original Deodorant is that it doesn’t stain your clothes! My friend who uses deodorant too always have this unsightly patch on her blouse (under-arm area) when she applies too much deodorant but with Dove Whitening Original Deodorant, i did not see this happening to me! That’s very promising already!

How’s the effect you asking? I find it effective too! Usually I will shaved my underarm every 2-3 days or use a wax strip (but waxing is too painful!). Regular shaving caused my underarm to have uneven skin tone, skin darkening and made my underarm skin dry. Based on my observation after I started using Dove Deo (been almost a month now), my underarm skin tone has lighten quite a bit and it kind of moisturize and soothe my underarm after I shaved (it is especially soothing after I waxed my underarm!). It’s good to see that my dark underarm has lighten and feeling fresh all day!

However don’t expect it to work like overnight magic.. It took about 3-4 days for me to realize my darkened underarm seems a little fairer. So happy to see it become fairer, i started using it more diligently! Every morning once, after shower, before i head to work & once in the evening after my shower when I’m back from work! When i’m feeling so worn out that day, i will apply it again just before i goes to sleep so that i can easily fall asleep without thinking about work!

Conclusion, this is definitely a deodorant that i will purchase again and recommend to my family and friends! People who have not use any deodorant before and wish to try, Dove Whitening Original Deodorant will definitely not disappoint you!

Nice scent! Effective! Easy to bring around! What more can you ask for!? Falling in Love with Dove!!

Before i end this post!! I’m so happy that i managed to grab this Dove Gift Set!!! Purchase a set of shampoo + condition and you can bring home a Panasonic hair dryer!!!
